Beyer, Peacock and Company Works No 5966 – SAR 1850

This locomotive was built by Beyer, Peacock and Company at Gorton, Manchester in 1920 for the South African Railways (SAR).

It is one of the locomotives that was rebuilt as a class 15AR engine.

The locomotive is owned by the Transport Heritage Foundation (THF) is part of the National Collection and believed to be at the Bloemfontein Locomotive Depot.
