John Fowler      Works No 16249   Rocky Point    0-4-0WT    Rocky Point Mill, Australia      Gauge 2ft 0in

This locomotive was built by John Fowler in Leeds in 1925 to work at the Rocky Point Mill, Woongoolba, located near Beenleigh, south of Brisbane.

During the 1970s the locomotive was displayed at the at Gilltraps Auto Museum at Kirra on the Gold Coast. This museum closed in 1987 and the locomotive moved to Dreamworld at Coomera where it was cosmetically restored before being put on display in the amusement park.

Around 2000 the locomotive was moved into the running shed at Dreamworld and stripped for assessment to see if it could be overhauled and used on the tourist railway in the park. Its use was ruled out when it was found that a lot of work was required on the boiler.

In 2002 the stripped down locomotive was moved back to its original home at Rocky Point Mill. It was subsequently cosmetically restored and placed on display.

Since 2013 the locomotive has been on display within the grounds of the Beenleigh Historical Village & Museum which is close to the site of the Rocky Point Mill.
