North British Locomotive Company – Works No 27356   3496  

This locomotive was built by the North British Locomotive Company in 1954 and entered service with SAR as a class 25 locomotive. It was rebuilt as a class 25NC none condensing locomotive in the 1970s.

The locomotive is now owned by Sandstone Heritage Trust and is located at Kommandonek having previously been at Bethlehem.
