was built by the Avonside Engine Company in Bristol in 1909 as one of a number of similar engines supplied to the South Bulli Colliery where it carried the No 4.
The South Bulli Colliery was purchased by the Bellambi Coal Co Ltd in 1901.
It was employed at the colliery until 1967 where it was used to haul coal from the Colliery to the jetty at Bellambi Haven.
The locomotive was donated by the Bellambi Coal Co Ltd to the Lions Club of Corrimal for installation in a park as a community service project. It was officially presented by the club to the Council of the City of Greater Wollongong in May 1969.
After many years displayed in a park adjoining Corrimal shopping precinct the locomotive was removed in 1999 and cosmetically repaired before being placed back on display again at a park adjoining Corrimal shopping precinct.
