Beyer, Peacock & Company – Works No 6193 2260

This class GE locomotive was built by Beyer Peacock in Gorton, Manchester in 1925 for the South African Railways (SAR).

It is owned by the National Collection by the Transport Heritage Foundation (THF) and is currently based at the Millsite Locomotive depot Krugersdorp which is located in the western suburbs of Johannesburg.
