Black, Hawthorn & Co    Works No  897     E No1 2-4-0CT

This locomotive was built by Black, Hawthorn & Co in 1887.

It is a large self propelled crane that was used at the Consett Iron Company.

It is now at Beamish Museum but is not on public display
