This locomotive was built by Hudswell Clarke & Co in Leeds in 1914 and was supplied to Homebrush Mill near Mackay where it was employed from 1915 until the sugar mill closed in 1921.
The locomotive was then transferred to the Victoria Mill at Ingham where it operated a passenger and freight service from the port at Lucinda to Ingham, Stone River and Long Pocket. The freight service was discontinued in 1932 but the locomotive continued to be used to haul sugar cane at Victoria Mill until it was taken out of service in 1976.
The locomotive was retained for preservation at the Victoria Mill and returned to steam in 1978.
The locomotive remains at the Victoria Mill.
