This locomotive was built by Hudswell Clarke & Co in Leeds in 1924 and operated at Hambledon Mill which is just south of Cairns.

The locomotive is now on static display under a weather roof at Hambledon Gardens (Sugarworld Gardens), near to the site of the former Hambledon Mill.

There is a suggestion that the locomotive incorporates some parts from Hudswell Clarke 1552.
