John Fowler      Works No 16340   4    0-4-2T    Tully Mill, Australia      Gauge 2ft 0in

This locomotive was built by John Fowler in Leeds in 1925 as the fourth of a batch of five engines ordered for the Tully Central Sugar Mill tramway in Queensland.

At that time Tully Mill was under construction by the Queensland state government, and in 1931 the mill was sold to local growers to become the Tully Co-operative Sugar Milling Association Ltd.

Whilst in service at Tully Mill the locomotive was fitted with an additional rear coal bunker.

In preservation the locomotive was originally intended to join the large collection of 2ft gauge steam locomotives at the Goulburn Steam Museum at Marsden Weir. Instead it went to the Lachlan Vintage Village at Forbes around 1974.

At Forbes it was restored to working order to operate on a track that ran round the Lachan Vintage Village.

The Lachan Vintage Village was forced to close and in 1986 the assets were auctioned off. The locomotive was purchased by the management of the Goulburn Steam Museum, together with two 4-wheel carriages, and relocated to Marsden Weir, Goulburn. It was reported in 1997 that the locomotive was being restored and is believed to have operated for a number of years at the museum on the tourist railway there.

By 2003 the railway had been removed and the locomotive sold.

The locomotive was purchased for private preservation and moved to Daylesford in Victoria.

Following the purchase of the engine the owner was believed to be repairing it in a sawmill workshop in Daylesford but has since moved it to Geelong in Victoria.
