This locomotive was built by John Fowler in Leeds in 1934 to work at the Mossman Mill in Queensland where it operated for 30 years hauling sugar cane.
The locomotive was taken out of service in 1964 whilst undergoing an overhaul at Mossman Mill.
The overhaul was still uncomplete in 1973 when the locomotive was purchased by the Australian Narrow Gauge Railway Museum Society (ANGRMS). The locomotive was then placed in store in Brisbane in 1974 before being transported to the ANGRMS site at Woodford site in 1983.
The locomotive is still awaiting the completion of the overhaul and restoration work.
