John Fowler      Works No 7607     3    0-6-0T   Isis Mill, Cordalba, Australia      Gauge 2ft 0in

This locomotive was built by John Fowler in Leeds in 1896 for Isis Mill at Cordalba.

The Isis Central Sugar Mill was first registered as a company in 1894 and it took until 1896 to gain Government approval for the building of a new mill which included a narrow gauge railway. The construction of the Isis Central Sugar Mill was completed in September 1897.

The published history of this locomotive is very limited.

It is believed it was at Moama in New South Wales for some years.

In 1983 the locomotive was moved to Western Sydney where it was advertised for sale in April 2004.

The locomotive was acquired for display at Childers and moved to the town museum there around 2007.

It has since been restored for static display under cover from the elements.
