This locomotive was identified by the South African Heritage Resource Agency (SAHRA) in 2013 as a category C engine that did not meet the SAHRA criteria or merit retention but was available for purchase or lend/lease.
As of 2018 it was believed to be at the locomotive depot at Queenstown.
