It is believed that this locomotive at some time operated on the on the Selati line which ran through the Kruger National Park. The line was closed around 1973 as it was considered by the National Parks Board and others that the railway disturbed the peace and quiet of the park and affected its animal life.
The locomotive is owned by the National Park Board and is on static display at Selati in the Kruger National Park.
