2364 was built by the Baldwin Locomotive Works in the USA in 1943.
After the Second World War it worked in Hungary from where it was brought to the Great Central Railway (Nottingham) at Ruddington Britain as spares for 1631.
In August 2022 it was announced that the locomotive had been put up for sale along with USATC 1631 and USATC 2138.
